Volunteer Appointed Positions
Skating Supervisors : The purpose of the skating supervisor is to help our student instructors and assistants develop into capable teachers and assist the student instructors in working with behavioral issues that may arise and encourage them as they work with your children. Prior to the skating year, the Skating Supervisors along with Board members conducted a skating instructor/student instructor/assistant clinic to assist the students in their preparation to work with your children. The clinic was open to all Freestyle skaters who are 7th grade and above. We are pleased to announce that Cheryl Schmidt and Marilee Dorn will again be our skating supervisors for the 2009/10 season.
Financial Coordinator : Sue Kidrowski was appointed to manage the fiscal affairs for Diamond Edge in tandem with the Board Treasurer. This position will be responsible for timely paying of bills, payroll and deposits and to work closely with the Board Treasurer on preparation of the annual budget, necessary financial statements and year end tax forms. The intent of this position is to add the proper separation of duties for accountability to the financial business of Diamond Edge.
